    Biography:
    Dr. Renad Abu-Sawwa, PharmD, BCPPS is the Associate Director of Clinical Pharmacology at RUSH Medical College with a practice site as a clinical pharmacy specialist practitioner at RUSH Children's Hospital in the Pediatric Epilepsy Clinic.

    Renad is a residency-trained, board-certified pediatric pharmacy specialist practitioner and educator with a specialized interest and expertise in neuropharmacology, pediatric neurology/neurocritical care and epilepsy. Prior to joining Rush she has held academic positions at prestigious colleges of pharmacy as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia and the University of Florida. At the Children’s Hospital of Georgia at the Augusta University Medical Center she developed a new practice site in the Pediatric Neurology Department/Epilepsy Clinic and served as a clinical preceptor for pharmacy residents and students. At UF Health Children's Hospital, she served as the pediatric pharmacy residency program coordinator and clinical pharmacy specialist in pediatric intensive care.
