overview Associate Professor, Family Medicine and Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Center Overview: My academic career interest is the design and conduct of community-based, clinical trials for the prevention and treatment of age-related conditions including, but not limited to, memory loss, affecting diverse populations of older adults. I am the Leader of the Outreach and Recruitment Core of the Rush Alzheimer’s Disease Core Center funded by the National Institutes on Aging. I am also co-Leader of the Community Engagement/Outreach Core and Leader of the Research Training/Education Core at the Rush Center of Excellence on Disparities in HIV and Aging funded by the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities. I am the co-Director of the Center for Community Health Equity, an initiative jointly led by DePaul University and Rush University Medical Center.
