    Eastwood’s research focuses on student learning in medical and anatomical sciences education. She has published in the areas of interdisciplinary education, socioscientific issues, epistemic cognition, collaborative learning, and novel approaches for teaching histology. Current projects focus on how students’ beliefs about knowledge influence learning in medical education.
